Making of the Gulf Fritillary Necklace

This is the process of creating the Gulf Fritillary Necklace

 I start with a pencil drawing.

 Then I start carving the outline in the wax.

 Then I carve some more.

Until I have the finished wax piece.

I have the wax cast into metal, finish any details and polish it up.
